HISTORY OF JAVA
In this blog, we see the history of java. History of java is very fascinating. Java is first created for digital set-top box but it was too advanced technology for the cable television management at the period. In past events Java is started at that green time. Java team member initiated the project to create a language for devices such as set-top box, television cables. 1. James Gosling, Mike Sheridan, Patrick Naughton these three members initiated java project in June 1991. It was originally developed for small embedded devices like television set-top box connections. Three members team name is the Green team.
2. First, it was called by the green talk by James Gosling and its file extension is .gt
3. Later it was called oak. And developed by the green team.
4.OAK is the symbol of strength and chosen in many countries national tree like France, USA, Germany, Romania.
5. In 1995 OAK was renamed as JAVA because already it was a trademark by OAK technologies.
6. Initially, it was developed by James Gosling at sun microsystems and it was released in 1995.
7.Java 1.0 release in 1996 file format of JDK file extension.
Later so many versions of Java was released now it was the most predominant object-oriented powerful programming language. Based on java in mobiles smartphones are launched in android OS.
Java Virtual Machine Its generally referred to as a JVM. Java has a java development kit, bytecode, Java runtime environment are one of the main features of Java programming.These are the History of java.
